While visiting Monterey and Carmel, we stayed at the Cabana RV Resort in Prunedale which is on Highway 101 between Salinas and Santa Cruz. It's about 20 miles from Monterrey and pretty convenient. The site is really nice with a fenced patio area. It was easy to get into the site but will be a challenge to back out of on Thursday when we head for Paso Robles about 100 miles south of here on 101.
