While in Placerville for the wine tasting weekend we spent one night at the old Cary Hotel.  This is a wonderful 1870ish place and still has most of the original fixtures and features of the original.



The elevator dates from the 1920's and is a European cage type and great that it is still functional.

As I have said I am now still restricted to a couple of pictures per whack and will work out the details and another medium when I get the chance.
