Date Nite
That's what they call it at the movie house, so we went. We walked out of the apartment entrance above and about 100 paces later arrived at the Look Cinema below ... no driving involved ... wonderful!
Neat place. The theater has several venues but we chose the Look and Dine one for tonight; we'll do the others later. In the picture above you can see the Coal Vines restaurant to the left and just off-picture to the right is the Nick and Sam's place we have talked about.
As you go into the theater you are met by several ushers who guide you to your reserved seat. And it is an airline type seat ... maybe a bit more room than that eh.
You hit the button on the arm and the attendant shows up to take your order. Let's see, "turkey and smoked ham club with avocado, bacon, lettuce, pepper jack and sweet potato fries; and also the chicken Parmesan sliders with marinara, mozzarella, basil and fries.
And with the bottle of wine opened by your wait person you sit back, push the button to extend the foot rest and watch the movie. There were about 10 of us in super cush seats in the theater that would normally hold 60. We saw "Non Stop" with Liam Neesom, which was great. And the food was absolutely perfect.
After the show after you walk out, you can go across the street and enjoy the park along the White Rock Creek which we have done a couple of times now.
As you can see we are starting to get out into our neighborhood here in the north Dallas area and see what is close by ... no driving please!!!
