Flying Scotsman 2014

Yes, we did take the bus over to Camping World on the 12th of February.

And now it is the 18th of March ... yep, still there. Time moves slowly in the garage world. We presented them with a laundry list of items including:
- Replace the cracked shower pan
- Fix a roller on the living room slide out
- Fix a broken W/D door handle
- Replace the level lift jack hydraulic pump
- Replace the entry door hinges
- Replace torn slide out seals
   and a few more things
We have an extended warrantee from CW that should pay for most of the stuff but the insurance company balked at the huge labor cost for both the shower pan, $800 over that allowed, and the slide out roller, $900 over what the average labor should be, as charged by this local CW. So for now we will omit those two items for future repair shops to deal with. Total still is about $5,000.

The upside is that the RV is sitting in their lot for free when we would have to store it somewhere. And today we took it down I-35 to McClain's to have the state inspection and the propane tank filled as well as do some of the cleaning stuff we have ignored.

Tonight sitting on the porch at the apartment as we watched the golfers during a nice 80 degree afternoon is Bandit showing off his new spandex leisure outfit as he watches a dog go by.

And just in case we forgot that we were in Texas!!!
