Critters

 

Here's a few shots of the creatures we lived with this summer in Barrie. I was sitting on the patio and our afternoon drinker came by to share happy hour. This is a female Ruby Throated and she became a frequent guest.

 

As I moved closer to get an even better view, she looked at me and zoom was gone, but just for a bit.

In the macro mode I was able to move quite close to this bee as he or she worked on the goldenrod flowers near the pond. Until I viewed the close-up I hadn't noticed the many other bugs that were also enjoying the plant.
